Manoj Sinha is a highly educated professional, he has done his B-Tech and M-tech from the prestigious IIT-BHU and has an extremely clean image in the political circle which prompted PM Modi to make him a union minister when he took office in 2014.

Having been an MP, it is believed that Manoj Sinha will be able to connect with the people personally because of his experience in working in rural areas. But Sinha will have a difficult task at hand, as he has to set up the elections in the state, handle constant internal unrest and end the factionalism that has been plaguing the Jammu & Kashmir bureaucracy for a while.

Therefore, it is only time will tell how he deals with these problems as compared to his predecessors.
