Pakistan Plane Crashes after missing Landing Once

PIA AP-BLD (Pic below) A320 Crashed near Karachi Airport Today. Reports say the Plane had problems with Landing Gear and had to abort Landing. There were 107 on board with 99 Passengers. There may be deaths on the ground too as the plane crashed into a civilian area. The plane was piloted by Captain Sajjad Gull.

AP-BLD, The Plane that crashed today

Two Initial Reports (both likely to be rumours) suggest that the Plane was making a low pass for the ATC to check out the Landing Gear. Second Report suggests that the Pilot made a late decision to abort landing leading to an Engine Flameout. Engine Flameouts are not completely difficult to manage but this could be one of those occasions

PIA has lost more than 30 Aircraft in Crashes with the last one in December 2016 when an ATR Crashed killing 47 people
