Crystal Palace vs Brighton Head to Head
Crystal Palace is set to host Brighton & Hove Albion in their next Premier League clash.
Brighton has started the season in a brilliant fashion as they have notched 4 wins out of the first five games. Their only defeat came against Everton and they will be full of confidence when they take on the Eagles at Selhurst Park.
Palace’s only win came against their London rivals Tottenham Hotspur this season and Patrick Vieira would be adamant to prove his worth in the English top tier.
Brighton’s excellent start to the current campaign has made all the other teams aware of their capabilities. A win against Leicester City and Burnley speaks volumes of their capability and manager Graham Potter will fancy his chances when his side makes the trip to London next Monday.
Palace is currently going through a transition period and manager Vieira is doing his best possible work to keep the club in the hunt for a top-half finish.
A lot of changes have been done at the club during the summer and Vieira seems to have a tough task cut out against a resurgent Brighton. The former Arsenal captain seems to have the knack of playing a set playing eleven and we might not see many tweaks in the next game.
Brighton’s European ambitions could be derailed with a mishap and Potter will be aware of that situation. The English manager has a couple of injury concerns but will be eyeing the precious three points to cement their position in the top four.
Andre Marriner will officiate Palace’s home game against Brighton.
