Tottenham vs Burnley Prediction and Odds: Preview

Burnley are unbeaten in the last four matches and would pose a serious challenge to Tottenham’s top four ambitions. Conte secured his first win in the Premier League and would be full of confidence when they take on the Clarets on Sunday n Turf Moor.

Spurs have reduced the gap with the top four to four points and Conte would definitely launch an attempt to cement their place in a Champions League spot.

The Italian is a serial winner and can turn the North London giants into serial winners.

Since their 2-0 defeat at the hands of Manchester City, they are yet to be defeated in the Premier League. They drew 2-2 with Southampton, defeated Brentford 3-1, played a resilient draw with Chelsea and shared points with the eagles in a six goal thriller.

Tottenham vs Burnley Prediction

They are just two points adrift of the safe zone and a good result against Spurs could see them breaking out of the relegation zone.

Christian Benteke scored the opener against the Clarets but Ben Mee levelled the scoring. Chris Wood scored the second for the home side but Benteke was again in the thick of the things as he equalised for the Eagles. Marc Guehi added another third but Maxwel Cornet had another plan as he reduced the deficit for the Clarets.

Spurs came back from behind to secure a much needed win. Daniel James had given the lead to the away side. Pierre-Emile Hojberg then equalised and Sergio Reguilon gave the home supporters a reason to joy as he nodded the winner at the stroke of the 69th minute.

Conte also made this gesture which also helped the side to come back after getting behind. The Tottenham Hotspur stadium was pretty quiet after Spurs had equalised and the Italian manager thought it might give their opponents a chance to come back into the game.

He indicated towards the supporters to raise their volume which brought back a cheerful atmosphere at the stadium.

Spurs looked clueless in the first half as Leeds dominated proceedings and the goal came in as a result of that.

Conte’s first home game in the Premier League wasn’t meant to finish that way. The Italian tweaked his tactics and asked his players to match Leeds’ intensity and the result was visible.

They started to dominate possessions and pushed their opponents.

Spurs had 11 attempts on goal and eventually came back as a winner. Burnley are known for their no-nonsense approach and they would try to stagnate Spurs’ attack by frustrating them.

Chris Wood hit his half century of goals and the feat would give him more confidence coming into the game. He can hit you hard and Spurs defenders need to be aware of his qualities.

Burnley are stronger in the air and Tottenham need to deal with the aerial duels.

Wood is only the sixth player to have hit double figures in each of the last four Premier League campaigns. He has so far netted  three times and will need to score more goals if the Clarets are to survive in the top flight.

Not bothered about psg performance. What I’m worried about poch is, lack of trophy. Couldn’t get a single trophy by being a brilliant coach and building Tottenham hotspur. He even lost the dressing room at the end.Not sure it works if you dont win anything.
