West Ham United is predicted to win against Bretford as per the latest West Ham vs Brentford Prediction and Odds

West Ham United will lock horns with Brentford at the London Stadium on 3rd October in the Premier League.

The Hammers have started the season from where they left in the last campaign. David Moyes has led his team to a brilliant start as barring a defeat against Manchester United it has been smooth sailing so far.

The London giants have made it clear they are here to stay and could be one of the contenders for a European spot this season.

Brentford has been flying high following their promotion to the top flight. The Bees shocked Arsenal on an opening day and since then have had some major encouraging results in their favour.

They played an entertaining 3-3 draw against Liverpool as came twice from behind to snatch a deserving one point at the Brentford Community Stadium.

The onus will be on to deal a severe blow to West Ham’s high hopes when they travel to London.

West Ham vs Brentford Prediction and Odds: Preview

Michail Antonio bagged a last-minute winner as the Hammers fought back after falling behind at the 19th minute. Moyes admitted his side didn’t play well but had the desired character to grind out a famous win at the Elland Road.

“Leeds are completely different from any other side we play and if affected us, especially in the first half.

“I didn’t think we played so well, and some of our better players didn’t play well today, but as the game went on we grew into it and got the win.

“The players have done a brilliant job, and do you know something? I wasn’t surprised. We’ve got a wee bit more of inner drive in us. Of course, there will be games where we go behind and maybe can’t get back from it, but in the main, certainly in the last 18 months or so, we’ve been in every game.

“We might not win them all, but we’ve been in every game fighting to try and win it. Today was another one where we’re fighting to try and win it. We got back to draw it, then we went on to win it, so it’s really good.“

Ivan Toney has lit up the Premier League with his fierce goal scoring skills. The English man guided the Bees to the top flight after 74 years as he claimed 33 goals in 52 games in the Championship last season.

Liverpool defence huffed and puffed as Virgil van Dijk and Co. failed to keep a tab on him. He has already hit the ground running with two goals and two assists and will be looking to add more numbers to his tally.

Brentford manager Thomas Frank too was full of praise for the player. He was quoted saying,

“I’m not in doubt of the fact that his parents have helped him massively through his life, 100 per cent sure they have raised a fantastic young man with all the right values. He’s faced a lot of setbacks in his career and that’s where you get tested on your resilience, and he’s shown himself to be very resilient, and he’s got that tough mentality and belief.

Ivan is very intelligent, because he’s reflecting, and he deserves a lot of praise himself for also coming into a well-run club and listening to all the small bits and adding extra layers to his development and performance. He’s coming across so fantastically: he’s humble, calm, but with a mindset of a lion.”
