Google Gujarat: As Gujarat Stumbles on COVID, Congress reduces gap with BJP

The total number of COVID-19 Cases has increased 6 fold in Gujarat in the last 15 days (Fastest across all States). This has led to a fall in the gap between BJP and Congress. In fact, Gujarat is one of the few States that did not respond well to the PM’s engagement. The lesson of course is, all the engagement can only help this much, performance has to match. A continuous deterioration could spell trouble for BJP but with elections still 3 years away, there is enough time to recover.
