Buccaneers vs Eagles Prediction and Odds: Recent Form

Tom Brady produced an exemplary performance against the Dolphins in the last game as he shot 411 yards alongside five touchdowns for the first time in his career.

The 44-year-old was in no mood to stop and even played the whole match with pain. The player was seen taping his right after the game and later revealed the injury didn’t affect him much.

In my younger days, I probably would have never showed you guys. I’d probably try to keep it a secret. But, I think, at my old age, I don’t care so much. It’s just kind of a football injury, so I’ll do my best to get ready for this game — we’ll see what happens.”

The Eagles warmed up for their upcoming game in style as they fought from behind to notch up a famous win against the Panthers. The game showed the rough and rusty character of the players as it wasn’t an easy game by any means.

Jalen Hurts didn’t have a very good start to the game but he rediscovered his form at the end of the game and it was his heroics that saw the Eagles having the last laugh.

Hurts recorded 198 yards, 1 interception, 9 rushes, and two touchdowns.

Brady has a 4-1 record against Philadelphia in the NFL. His sole loss came back in 2015 when he was with New England Patriots. Brady will come up against his counterpart Hurts who is just 23 years old.

Both the players were at their best in the last game and this game could turn out to be a duel between Brady and Hurts. Brady currently holds the record for most passing yards this season as he has 1767 yards in his tally so far.

Receiver Antonio Brown also became the fastest NFL player to record 900 catches. Brown was delighted to achieve the milestone.

That’s something I’m really grateful for, but I couldn’t have done it by myself. Being able to play with some great quarterbacks — Ben Roethlisberger, Tom Brady — it’s a blessing to play with guys like that.”

Brady’s injury cast doubt on his availability but the player is expected to face the Eagles. Coach Bruce Arians said,

He went through the full practice. Had we had a full-speed practice, he probably would have limited his throwing. But he looks like he’ll be fine Thursday.”

Tampa Bay’s defence against the pass hasn’t been good and Hurts could utilize some opportunity in this match.

The Eagles are allowing 194.8 passing yards on average in each game but have given up 142 rushing yards per game.

Eagles coach Nick Sirianni praised his team’s efforts after their win over the Panthers in the last match. He said,

Really, what that felt like, was a complete team win. And that’s what it was. When one units down, the other units have to bring it up. The defense felt like it was up the whole game, right, and they really did, the played an unbelievable game. Special teams was down a bit early, but then they come back and make a play. And then the offense was down, and then they gutted it out in the second half on some really meaningful plays.

So, it was really, again, the definition of a team wins. It was the definition of what we talk about, a dawg mentality because the offense — it wasn’t going good for the offense, for a long time of that game, it wasn’t going good. But when they needed to make plays at the end, and it was still tight, they made plays that they needed to make there.

So, I’m really happy for the guys. Every guy in there should be really happy for themselves. Again, just a great team win.”

I love to encourage others to do their best. Today is what @TomBrady is about helping, giving, and be such a great leader so others can follow in his footsteps, I probably will never meet him or anyone on the @Buccaneers, and that ok. I love them.
