Achievements of Arvind Kejriwal

1. In 1999 Kejriwal helped in the foundation of Parivartan, an NGO aiming to assist the citizens in electricity, income tax and food ration-related matters. [Link]

2. Played a key role to empower the poorest at the grass-root level and implement the Right of Information Act (RTI).

3. Created a corpus fund with the award money he received from the Magsaysay Award, and with that founded the NGO called Public Cause Research Foundation in 2012.

4. As a Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal paid special attention to improving education system in Delhi. In 2019-20 budget of Delhi government, 15000 crore rupee was allotted for the improvement of education system in Delhi. This is about 25% of total budget. [Link]

5. Kejriwal government started an innovative project of door step delivery of public services. Around 40 public services was launched for door step delivery by the Delhi government. [Link]

6. Free water and cheap electricity has been one of the biggest achievement of Arvind Kejriwal. Residents using 20 kilolitres of water get it free and the power tariff has also come down. [link]

7. Three tier health care system has been one of the major achievement of Arvind Kejriwal and his government. Two-room local mohalla clinics, polyclinics and super-speciality hospitals forms the three layers of this health care system. [Link]
