Coronavirus Update: Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal shows Coronavirus Symptoms

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has complained of sore throat and is down with fever since Sunday. The Aam Aadmi Party National Convener was last seen on Sunday when he addressed the citizen of Delhi digitally. He is currently under self-isolation.

Arvind Kejriwal has cancelled all his meeting and is expected to undergo COVID-19 test on Tuesday, 8th of June. Arvind Kejriwal is known to be diabetic and has undergone treatment in Bengaluru several times. After complaining of sore throat, cough and fever there has been fear of him contacting Coronavirus.

Delhi is the 3rd most affected among the states/UTs in India. On Sunday, 7th of June there was a huge surge in Coronavirus cases in Delhi. At present, Delhi has reported around 29,000 Coronavirus positive cases. On Saturday, the Delhi Chief Minister announced that the hospitals under Delhi government will be treating only the patients from Delhi. It must also be noted that amidst increasing cases of Coronavirus, there has been relaxation in lockdown and the movement of common people has started in Delhi.
