Best: Kerala, Rajasthan, Haryana
Good: Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand, Delhi, Haryana
Moderate: UP, Gujarat, Punjab, Bihar, Odisha
COVID: Worst Performing States
Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka
Andhra Pradesh reported the highest number of cases yesterday. It reported a big positivity rate of 14.3% inspite of carrying out 70000 tests. This means that the spread rate within the population is huge. Andhra Pradesh could become the next Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu

Maharashtra has shown lot of improvement in Mumbai, Pune and Thane. However, cases reported remain very high, positivity rate is 18% and Death rate is one of the highest in the country
Karnataka has shown some levels of steadiness but test positivity is very high at nearly 17% while death rate at 3.6% is one of the worst in the country.
Both Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka were the most aggressive implementers of Unlock resulting in massive spike in cases. It is likely things will settle down over the next three weeks but until then, numerous families are likely to lose their loved ones
