Chennai Super Kings bounced back after losing their opening fixture and trounced Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals quite comfortably in the next two fixtures. Ruturaj Gaikwad has struggled so far. Moeen Ali’s inclusion in the team has changed the fortunes of the team.
KKR, however, suffered a demoralising defeat to Mumbai Indians in their second match after handsomely beating Sunrisers Hyderabad in their campaign opener. Against RCB they had a mighty collapse of both bowling and batting.

CSK’s Ruturaj Gaikwad started his knock with a four against Rajasthan, but he couldn’t carry on for long. After he scored 10 runs, Mustafizur Rahman accounted for his wicket.

Highest run scorer for KKR in this IPL season, Nitish Rana was dismissed early against RCB. He became the victim of Chahal after scoring 18 off 11 balls with a strike rate of 163.63.
Ambati Rayudu came to bat in the last ball of the powerplay, and he smashed three sixes to end on 27 off 17 balls. He became Sakariya’s second victim.
KKR Skipper Eoin Morgan scored 29 runs. He is still looking to regain his form.

Moeen Ali scored a 20-ball 26 with one four and two sixes against Rajasthan in last match. It was his show with the ball that turned the game on its head. In bowling, he bowled three overs and conceded seven runs with wickets of D Miller, Riyan Parag and C Morris.
R Jadeja could not deliver with the bat in hand, as he got out to Chris Morris in last match. However, with the ball, he picked up the crucial wickets of Buttler and Shivam Dube. In four overs, he conceded only 28 runs. He also took three catches in the outfield.
KKR’s A Russell tried to play the innings of 2019 against RCB where KKR made 64 runs in the last four overs. However, he dragged ball onto his stumps. He scored 31 runs off 20 balls and was pretty expensive with his bowling as he gave away 38 runs in his two overs.
Shakib was castled by Jamieson for 25 runs. He went for 24 runs in his 2 overs against RCB.
